This commitment came to life at Camp TurboTax, an unforgettable weekend hosted at Intuit’s Mountain View HQ, where over 150 college students came together to grow as leaders, social media creators, and financial wellness advocates. A Weekend of Growth and Connection Camp TurboTax was designed to be more than just a training—it was an experience. Our Student Brand Ambassadors immersed themselves in sessions that elevated their understanding of Intuit and its mission to power prosperity around the world, TurboTax products that empower customers to file with confidence, the importance of financial literacy and actionable advice to center financial wellness in their lives, and how to level up their content creation skills on platforms like TikTok and Snapchat. With inspiring talks from speakers like Gold Medalist & Advocate Aly Raisman, Best-Selling Author & Trading Secrets Podcast Host Jason Tartick, and Creator Anna Sitar, our ambassadors left equipped to make an impact on their campuses. Building Community Through Advocacy For many SBAs, Camp TurboTax wasn’t just a professional development opportunity; it was a chance to build meaningful connections. “I have been working with Wasserman for 3 years now, and while the virtual training offers the opportunity to meet your co-SBAs, this in-person training allows you to ‘really meet them.’ I am walking away with some lifelong friends and can’t wait to create content with them.” Sean Grady “Before everyone starts heading out, I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Nell, Abbey, the Wasserman team, and TurboTax! Y’all went above and beyond making this weekend so much fun! Thank you for hosting a space for us to build a community and connections that’ll last a lifetime!” Sara Hunt Why TurboTax Cares About Financial Literacy Working with ambassadors like these underscores our dedication to financial literacy among students. By partnering with passionate and influential college leaders, TurboTax ensures that more young adults are aware of the tools and resources available to navigate their finances with confidence. Ambassadors play a key role in spreading our message by engaging their peers in real-world conversations about the importance of financial wellness. What It Means to Be a TurboTax SBA The TurboTax SBA program is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for college students who are passionate about leadership, social media marketing, and financial advocacy. Beyond the unforgettable weekend at Camp TurboTax, our SBAs take on responsibilities that include: Sharing authentic and engaging content on social media. Hosting in-person activations to drive awareness on campus. Advocating for the simplicity and confidence TurboTax brings to tax filing. This hands-on experience helps ambassadors gain valuable skills in content creation, brand advocacy, and leadership. The Impact of Camp TurboTax Camp TurboTax exemplifies Intuit’s mission of powering prosperity for all. By investing in student leaders, we’re not just raising awareness of our services; we’re fostering a generation of financially empowered individuals who can take control of their future. Whether it’s through personalized tax guidance or opportunities like Camp TurboTax, we’re proud to stand alongside students on their journey to success.
