TurboTax’s New Super Bowl Ad — Adrien Brody Can Handle That For You

Read the Article

Thirteen years in, TurboTax once again heads to the Super Bowl with a new commercial — this time leaning into a little Hollywood drama to make a familiar point: filing taxes doesn’t have to be stressful.

In the upcoming Super Bowl LX spot titled, “The Expert,” Oscar‑winning actor Adrien Brody stars as himself, bringing his trademark intensity to an unexpected role — a TurboTax expert. Known for his immersive, dramatic performances, Brody treats the part with awards-season seriousness, rehearsing the line “I can handle that for you” as if the stakes couldn’t be higher.

The exaggerated preparation sets up the central joke: while Brody leans fully into drama, TurboTax is focused on making taxes feel anything but overwhelming.

That contrast comes through in a tongue-in-cheek exchange between Brody and the director:

I’m just trying to tap into the pain of taxes,” Brody says. “No, you’re not some regular tax guy. You are a TurboTax expert,” replies the director.

The moment underscores the ad’s core idea — when it comes to taxes, expertise matters more than theatrics.

Through humor and self-awareness, “The Expert” highlights how smart technology and real, live experts come together to deliver a faster, easier filing experience.

The commercial will air just before halftime during Super Bowl LX on February 8, 2026, with shorter teaser versions running during pregame programming and across digital channels ahead of the game.

“ We know that people struggle with the tax process,” said Trevor Kelly, Vice President of Marketing for the Consumer Group at Intuit. “We want them to know we hear them — and that with TurboTax, they don’t have to face taxes alone. The spot helps us show, in a fun and memorable way, that there’s a better, easier path forward.”
