Terms & Conditions

Online submissions are subject to the following terms and conditions. But submitting a comment or other content, you agree as follows:

1. As of the date of my submission I am a bona fide user of the products or services produced or marketed by Intuit Inc. and/or its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively “Intuit”) (all such Intuit products or services collectively the “Products” and/or “Services”), and any other product or service referenced in my submission.

2. I grant to Intuit, and anyone Intuit may designate, the irrevocable right to use in perpetuity my name and/or my initials, voice, likeness, company or firm name, city of residence, video, audio, photograph(s) of me, and/or my statements (collectively the “Content”), either alone or accompanied by other material, and with or without attribution, in any manner and in any media, throughout the world, for the purpose of advertising, promoting and publicizing Intuit and/or the Products and/or Services. To the fullest extent permitted by law I waive any and all claims based on rights of publicity, privacy, and use of my likeness.

3. The Content may be used in whole or in part and may be paraphrased, amplified, shortened, put into conversational form, or manipulated to adjust color or superimpose text, sound, or other images, provided the general sense is not materially and substantially changed (all such changes collectively the “Modifications”). The Content may be moderated or screened to remove objectionable or offensive statements or message by Intuit, or a content processor designated by Intuit. I hereby irrevocably give my consent to Intuit, or anyone Intuit may designate, permissions to make Modifications even where those Modifications would otherwise infringe any moral rights I may have in relation to the Content, and irrevocably waive such moral rights to that extent. I agree Intuit may use an actor or a model to portray or simulate me or my voice or likeness in any advertising, promotion or publicity materials which utilize the Content. I waive all rights to inspect and approve the finished materials or their use by Intuit.

4. My statements are true and accurately reflect my honest opinion of and experience with Intuit and its Products and /or Services, as well as with any other companies and their products and/ or services. If my opinion changes, I will promptly notify Intuit. I have made these statements without any prior payment or promise of compensation and without any expectation of any compensation or benefit in return, and acknowledge that I am not entitled to any royalties or other fees arising from Intuit’s use of the Content.

5. To the extent that any part of the Content is subject to copyright, trademark, trade dress, trade secret, patent, or any other legal protections (including protection under any intellectual property laws of any jurisdiction), I represent that (a) I am the legal owner of all rights in such Content, and (b) if not the owner, I have been granted sufficient rights in such Content to permit the public use and exploitation of such Content on the terms contained herein. I hereby grant to Intuit and anyone Intuit may designate a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, transferrable and sublicensable, fully paid-up and royalty-free license to use and exploit such Content, in any media, without limitation or further consideration.

6. I agree that I will not hold Intuit or anyone who receives permission from Intuit responsible for any liability whatsoever resulting from or in connection with the use of the Content, or of my name, initials, voice, likeness, company or firm name, city of residence, video and/or photograph(s) (actual or simulated) in accordance with the these terms, including (but not limited to) what might be deemed to be misrepresentation of me, my character or my person due to distortion, optical illusion or faulty reproduction which may occur in the finished materials, and I hereby waive, on my own behalf and on behalf of my heirs and assigns, any and all such claims for liability, presently known and unknown, which I may now or hereafter have.

7. I understand and agree that Intuit is and shall be the exclusive owner of any Products, Services and/or material my Content appears within.

8. I represent that I have not been involved in any activities or offences that may reflect poorly on Intuit and/or its Products and/or Services.

9. This release shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its choice of law provisions. I am of full legal age and have the right to give this release. I have also read this release and am fully familiar with its content and agree to be bound by its terms.
