As TurboTax Deductionista, Lauren will offer consumers far and wide advice on getting financially-savvy right here on the TurboTax Blog. She brings over 17 years of financial media experience to the table, and will help taxpayers find ways to put more money in their pockets (yay!).
“My goal is make taxes easier for Americans, which is why I’m very excited to be joining the TurboTax team,” said Lauren, who has been using TurboTax software for more than a decade. “TurboTax is all about getting people their biggest refund–that’s definitely something I am proud to be part of.”
Lauren is a former writer for BusinessWeek’s Personal Business section, where she covered personal finance. You also may have seen Lauren appear as personal finance expert on TV shows, including CBS News, CNBC and Good Morning America.
Lauren was previously a senior writer for SmartMoney. Prior to that, she covered mutual funds and capital markets for Dow Jones News and was a frequent contributor to The Wall Street Journal.
Based in Brooklyn, Lauren lives with her husband, an attorney, and their five-year-old son.
