TurboTax Reaches New Milestones for Customer-Driven Innovations
TurboTax Inner Circle Community Delivers 100th Product Improvement, Ease of Use
SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Mar. 1, 2012 – TurboTax, the nation’s leading tax software from Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU), today announced that TurboTax Inner Circle, an influential community of 20,000 customers, reached its 100th customer-driven product improvement.
The TurboTax Inner Circle Community, which provides product feedback and innovations that are instrumental in helping to make TurboTax even easier to use, is credited for inspiring everything from the ability to “copy & paste” to the popular “flags” feature, which enables customers to bookmark areas in the product so that they can easily navigate back. The book-marking feature, which was coined a “terrific tool” by PC Magazine, is now an industry standard.
As their 100th contribution, Inner Circle members worked closely with product teams to make it even easier for the TurboTax customers to understand whether they qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and why. The credit could mean up to $5,700 for some taxpayers.
