Massachusetts Extends State Tax Deadline Until April 18th

The Massachusetts Department of Revenue announced today that it is extending the personal income state tax filing deadline until Friday, April 18, 2014 for Massachusetts state tax returns due to delays with their electronic filing system.  Taxpayers do not need to wait to file their MA state tax return. You can e-file with TurboTax now.

This is not a federal extension, Massachusetts taxpayers still have to file their federal tax return by 11:59 tonight, April 15, 2014.
