Pretty much, yes. There are a few forms that still need to be updated and some the IRS has yet to finalize. The IRS did just begin accepting returns for processing as of today. Most taxpayers will be able file without any issues now.

Actually NY state is accepting January 22nd and Federal is accepting January 30th. However, I have already had a federal EZ accepted today January 25th.

Hi Tonya,
States are accepting e-file on 1/30 in conjunction with the IRS open date. You don’t have to wait to file though. You can file with TurboTax today so your taxes are the first in line to be filed.
