Hello, does anyone here suggest me some information about California affiliate tax ?
Apparently Intuit doesn’t understand the difference between Affect and Effect. Embarrassing. Doesn’t give the reader much confidence that Intuit knows what they’re talking about…
Hi John,
Thank you for your feedback. Just want to clarify, “Affect” was used as a verb in the title. “Affect” with an “A” is typically used as a verb and “Effect” with an “E” is used as a noun. “Affect” used with an “A” is typically used when you say one thing has an impact on another so the title could read as “Affiliate Tax: The IMPACT On Interstate E-Commerce”.
I hope this clarifies the use of “Affect” in the title.
Thank you!

I’m considering signing up as a resident affiliate for online links, but I live in North Carolina. Do you have any information on how this law has affected opportunities and available retailers in that state? Should I try another route?
North Carolina does have affiliate taxes, which may be repealed. You can keep track of updates with this forum
