Hi Jayanthi,
Without seeing your other entries, I would double check your entries where you report mileage and make sure your entries for miles driven for the job are 60% of the total miles and also make sure your commuting miles from home to an office are entered correctly as those cannot be deducted. Also, if your business expenses are not more than 2% of your adjusted gross income, you will not get the deduction. For example, if your adjusted gross income was $50,000, your total business expenses would need to be more than $1,000.

I hope this helps you!

Thank you,
Lisa Lewis

I am using 60% of the total miles(12000) on Toyota Siena for business purposes. Turbo tax is not allowing me to deduct the mileage for 2011. Is there any reason for that?
