Your parents can purchase TurboTax at their local retailer. After they install the CD it they are going to need to connect to the internet to get the most recent updates. Once they have done that, they can go ahead and prepare and file their taxes, no internet connection needed.

No, the IRS is not sending them this year. If you file a 1040EZ though, you can prepare and e-file your federal return for free with TurboTax Online Free Edition.
