Hey Turbo Tax,

I am planning to file my taxes again with Turbo Tax and need to know how to repay the tax credit for first time home buyers from 2008. Is there an option on Turbo Tax to enter in the information to make sure that it gets taken care of or will it automatically come out of my refund?

Please email me when you get a chance!

Thanks!

I am currently in the refinancing process for my house. I learnt from the bank that starting Oct of this year they changed their guidelines to include the escrow costs in the refinancing upfront costs i.e. my cost to refinance now includes closing costs + escrow (property tax + HOA fees)

I have no option but to include the escrow in my loan amt now. My question is will I be able to take a deduction in my taxes for the property taxes now that the bank will be paying for it as a part of the loan amount.

Thanks,
