No, making work pay expired in 2010. You received more income in your paychecks in 2011 due to the payroll tax holiday available.

The Make Work Pay Credit expired December 31, 2010, which is why the payroll tax holiday was passed, which lowered Social Security Tax taken out of your paycheck from 6.2% to 4.2%. The payroll tax holiday was set to expire 12/31/2011, but was extended until the end of February 2012 until Congress votes on a long-term bill. You will not see any option to take the Make Work Pay Credit in 2011 since it expired in 2010. You just received bigger paychecks in 2011.
