Your December "Bundle of Joy" Could be Worth a Bundle
Little bundles of joy have brought their parents a lot this year – smiles, laughs, dirty diapers and… $5, 000 in cold hard cash?
As 2009 comes to an end and you’re enjoying your new baby (and probably not much sleep), it’s hard to think about taxes. What you may not know is that the newest member of your family may be a welcome last-minute tax deduction. For the third year, TurboTax®, is conducting a nationwide search for America’s Cutest Last-Minute Tax Deduction and the parents of one lucky baby, born Dec. 1-31, 2009, will win $5,000 for their family! Considering a recent report says a typical family will spend about $221,000 raising a child through age 17, this could help mom and dad get a little more sleep in the New Year.
To enter your last-minute little cutey, simply go to CutestTaxDeduction and submit a photo of your newest tax deduction. But you better hurry you only have until January 7th to get the photo up. And remember, this is America’s choice, so make sure to spread the word to family and friends!
We’ve had so many adorable babies enter this contest over the years and we can’t wait to see what’s coming this year. You can check out the photos as they are posted, but no voting until Jan.8th.
So if you know someone that’s having a baby in December, be sure to share this…it may be worth $5,000 bucks…and that’s worth a whole lot of diapers!
