Because you mention a rental deduction, it sounds as if you’re talking about state return, not just a federal one. Which state do you live in?

What do I do if I have already filed my return and I realized that I forgot to put in some interest income I earned last year?

Since the earned income credit has been raised and the rental deduction has been doubled are we able to take advantage of it on this years tax return (2007) and if so and I already filed how do I recoup the remainder refund amount?

I am trying to file previous tax returns for a friend who hasnt filed a return for the years 2004, 05,06 & 2007. I have already filed his taxes for 2007 but I didnt file them because I need to have imformation from the previous years. Can anyone tell me how I can file those other 3 years, and if I can file them on turbo tax and how? Desperately hoping to get an answer because I dont want to pay someone to do them when I can do them cheaper on turbo tax. Can anyone help me. Much appreciated. Shirley Drager
